Customizable Venturi Hookup Options

This system includes a high-flow venturi attachment, giving you flexibility depending on how you want to oxygenate or sanitize your water:

• Ozone Compatible: Add your own ozone generator (like the recommended JED 003) to inject ozone directly into the water for advanced sanitation.
• Air Injection Only: Skip the ozone and run a simple air hose to the venturi for continuous air injection—great for oxygenating your plunge without additional equipment. (available as an add-on)
• Outlet Diverter Only: Leave the venturi unconnected to use it purely as a directional water outlet.

Multiple Placement Options for Maximum Flexibility

This filtration system is designed to work with virtually any cold plunge setup. You can place the APEX86 system:

• On the Step of Your Freezer: Ideal if you have at least 9.5 inches of water above the step. The filter will face down for optimal function.
• On the Floor of Your Plunge: Perfect for setups without a step or with lower water levels. Place the unit with the filter facing upward. Note: for best venturi performance, keep water depth to around 22 inches or less, as too much depth can reduce venturi injection.

We typically pack and ship your filtration system within 1-2 business days. All orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail (2–3 day delivery estimate). Standard shipping includes $100 insurance, but we strongly recommend selecting the $2.99 fully insured option. This protects the full value of your purchase and offers a faster, photo-based claims process in the rare event of damage during transit.

Filter Maintenance & Replacement

Recommended replacement filters (5-micron) can be found here.

If the venturi stops producing bubbles, it’s likely time to clean or replace the filter. To clean: rinse with water and soak in a mild bleach solution ~3oz bleach inside the housing, topped off with water; for 2 hours. Repeat every 2 weeks to maximize filter life.

Usage Notes

• Hand wash filtration components only with warm, soapy water. Avoid hot water or dishwashers, as high temperatures may damage plastic parts.
• Safety first: Always unplug the pump, freezer, and any connected devices before entering the water.
• Never run the pump dry. It must always be submerged in water to prevent damage not covered by warranty.
• Pump is 120V only. For countries using 220V–240V power, a step-down transformer rated for at least 300W or 3 amps is required.
