Ozone Mixing Nozzle

This nozzle attaches easily to the outlet of a Marineland Magnum Filter / Pump, with no modifications, and holds the ozone bubbler stone (20mm / 0.800" diameter x 50mm / 2" long) from a JED-203 ozone generator:

By introducing the ozone gas directly into the flow of filtered water, ozone is dissolved into the water more quickly. It also redirects the water flow downwards, which accomplishes two things. The ozone bubbles spend more time in the water before reaching the surface, and particles that have settled on the floor are brought back into circulation, where they can be filtered out.

Just remove one of the stainless steel screws (with a 2mm or 5/64" allen wrench), gently insert your bubbler stone, replace the screw, making sure not to overtighten! the threads are plastic and the screw doesn't need to clamp the stone. It is only there so the stone does not fall out. Then slip the whole nozzle over your Marineland Magnum outlet. Use a twisting motion as you press the nozzle into place.
