MarineLand Magnum Spa Vac Conversion

I'm excited to bring you guys something that really made my plunge life easier!

There is no getting around it: you will bring debris into your cold plunge and some will settle to the bottom. Especially since we sit on the floor, it's really nice to have it clean.

I didn't want to choose between an expensive and large electric spa vac, or the clunky and large siphon style systems, with mixed reviews. So, I designed a new manifold to convert our MarineLand filter pumps into a spa vac on-demand.

The manifold clips right onto the pump head, with no tools or modifications, and stays on all the time. When you want to use it as a spa vac, you just insert the food grade silicone tubing (5 ft included) and vacuum any debris right into the filter.

This item is compatible with the original mounting plate, but also offers the option of being configured with a direct magnetic mount, for those with steel interiors who are struggling with suction cup adhesion. Please verify magnets will stick to your interior before selecting this option.

Also included in this package is a vacuum nozzle and a manifold plug. The manifold has inlets on both sides, to allow flexibility in pump positioning. You can plug the inlet that is hardest to reach (designed for full flow through one inlet), or only plug the extra inlet while using the vac attachment.

If you need to remove the manifold, please let it warm up to room temperature first! The cold temps will embrittle plastic and make it prone to cracking. I recommend leaving it connected for best longevity.

Hand wash in warm soapy water. No hot water. No dishwasher.

Disclaimer: In order to use the vac, your Marineland pump must be supplied power. Contacting water with a submerged pump running carries some amount of risk.
