Danner Pump High Flow Pre-Filter

I will say after running my ice bath for 5 years, I have retired it & the old Fish Pump. I have moved up to this and a brand new ice bath and I cannot say how happy I am. The flow rate & ability to pump Ozone into the water at a rapid rate helping clean the water is fundamental to keeping bacteria levels down. Some people don't understand cold water still breeds bacteria, so we must do everything we can to maintain a healthy clean water supply without having to refill alot. This pump is by far the best Ice Bath Pump on the market and I would not recommend ANYTHING else. As a small business owner myself, this is hands down the BEEs KNEEs of PUMPs. 2 stage filtration + the vac & venturi pump its just a blessing. Buy it don't think twice :) James William Dalby.

I was a little worried when I first bought this because I converted my indwelling bathtub into a cold plunge and have to use my pump as a submersible - so I sit with it in the tub. The pre-filter is not super snug and can fall off fairly easily if you move the pump around outside of the water. But when I put it on, turned on the pump, and put it in the water it works great! You still should not bump or move the pump around in the water as it will fall off, but if you have it sitting next to you it works awesome! This DEFINITELY will save me on the number of filter changes I will need to do throughout the year. With all of the debris I have cleaned off so far - this will no doubt pay for itself in a year.
P.S. The white color is useful to see how dirty it gets so you know when to CAREFULLY (I learned this the hard way) remove it and clean it. Go with white :)

Lars at Apex86 created an outstanding system! I did a bunch of research before buying the filtration system. I am eight months into using the filtration system and it works great! I reached out to Lars a couple of times with questions and he always provided great professional service. I would buy again in a heart beat!
